About me

Hi, I’m Verity. My name means truth, and you find me on my path to find my own. Being curious about who I am and why I do the things I do is what drives me to learn about myself and to continuously develop professionally.

My route into counselling grew from my work in education, alongside my own experiences of bereavement and navigating difficult periods in life. These experiences have shaped the person and therapist I am today, giving me a deeper understanding of how difficult and overwhelming life can sometimes feel, and how valuable it can be to have someone alongside you.

My own experience and therapeutic intervention has brought me to a place where I feel more at peace and comfortable in my own skin. If I could wish one thing for the people I work with, it would be for you to find some of that feeling too.

Clients describe me as warm, genuine and down-to-earth. I bring honesty, compassion and a little humour into the therapy room, creating a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgement.
